Hammers Chips Up Through Alexander

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Joseph Fine raised to 2,500 from middle position, and John Alexander called in the hijack. Tom Hammers three-bet to 6,800 from the button, and after Fine folded, Alexander called.

"How many 5k chips you got?" Hammers asked Alexander, who responded, "Four."

The {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} board was checked down, and Alexander said, "Ace-high."

"How high?" Hammers asked, and after Alexander showed his {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Hammers won the pot with his {a-Spades}{8-Spades}.

Welcome Back, Scotter

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With a dead small blind and temporarily playing six handed while the floor broke a table, Aaron Massey opened to 2,600 under the gun. Action folded around to Scotter Clark on the button, who said, "Raise it," as he dropped 9,000 in front of him. Blake Whittington gave up his big blind, and Massey quickly laid his hand down as well.

Hinkle Can't Bet Out a Chop

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

After a raise from a player in middle position and three callers, Blair Hinkle three-bet to 13,000 in the big blind. The middle position player called, and everyone else folded.

Hinkle led out for 10,000 on the {3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, and his opponent called.

Both players checked the {4-Diamonds} turn, and Hinkle jammed for 39,100 on the {5-Spades} river. His opponent called, and after Hinkle showed {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, his opponent rolled over {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and the duo chopped the pot.

Schaal-In with Worse

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With Austin Schaal having opened the action to 2,600 from the hijack, the small blind jammed his last 10 big blinds for 12,000 on the nose.

Schaal took his time doing some mental math, pointing to the pot and looking at his opponent behind reflective orange lenses, eventually making the call.

His at-risk opponent turned over his hand before Schaal slammed down his own.

Small Blind: {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Schaal: {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The {8-Clubs} popped up in the window, pairing Schaal. "Ah. Eight on the flop," said the small blind as the dealer finished laying out {j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. "Don't worry—it's coming," said Schaal.

The small blind picked up a gutshot on the {7-Hearts} turn, and Tom Hammers shouted, "Nine on the river!" from the other end of the table. But the river was the {q-Spades}, and Schaal sent his opponent packing.

Maurice Hawkins
Maurice Hawkins

Maurice Hawkins bet 12,700 from the cutoff on a {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts} board, and Austin Tjaden went into the tank on the button. He eventually settled on a call.

Hawkins bet 15,800 on the {k-Hearts} river, and Tjaden went into the tank again. After about a minute, he slid in a stack of chips to call, and Hawkins revealed {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a combo draw that found a pair of kings on the river. Tjaden mucked.

Two Bracelet Winners in Three-Bet Pot

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Blair Hinkle opened to 3,000 from early position, and Stephen Song decided on a three-bet sizing of 9,000 in response. Action folded back to Hinkle, who considered it for a moment before calling.

Hinkle tapped the table upon seeing the {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop, and Song began to grab chips. Before his 5,500 even hit the felt, Hinkle's cards were in the muck.

Brett Reichard raised to 2,600, and was called by Neil Patel next to act, as well as Scotter Clark in the hijack.
