Ultimate Cooler Ends in Early Double for Graydon

Level 2 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante
Mick Graydon
Mick Graydon

It's not often one sees nearly 600 big blinds going in preflop, but that is exactly what happened on one of the tables of the main event.

The chips had already gone in between Peter Josefsson in the hijack and Michael Graydon on the button when the action was caught, and they turned their hands face-up. Graydon was at risk with his 29,100 stack as Josefsson apparently had already gathered some chips early today.

Michael Graydon: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Peter Josefsson: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

A classic case of aces versus kings. Graydon's aces held on the uneventful {7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} board and he doubled up to a big stack very early on.

Luckily for Josefsson, the structure leaves him with plenty of room to try and spin up his remaining 8,000 chips.

Fox Gets Value on the River

Level 2 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante

Ali Zandiyeh checked from the small blind in a pot that had already grown to a very sizable 11,000 chips. The completed board was {7-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and his opponent Colin Fox put out a bet of 7,000 from the cutoff.

This sent Zandiyeh deep into the tank. Ultimately he called reluctantly, immediately being shown the {6-Diamonds}{7-Spades} from his opponent. Zandiyeh nodded and the trip sevens were good as Fox scooped in a big pot.

The flop fell {8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Walsh checked, Hodson bet 2,500 and both players called.

The turn was the {q-Hearts}. Walsh checked again and Hodson bet 5,500. Aflacailor, who was the aggressor preflop, opted for the shove and forced both players to fold.

Hasson Has Not Increased His Stack Yet

Level 2 : Blinds 100/100, 0 ante

Ori Hasson has registered Day 1c after his first entry on Day 1b did not yield any results. In his latest effort to gather some extra chips he was on the button and called a raise to 200 from cutoff Enda Walsh.

The flop of {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} checked through, and Hasson folded the {2-Clubs} turn to a bet of 800.

Evidently, this was not the first pot Hasson has lost today, as his stack also misses one of the T-5000 chips he started with.
