Hooper Doubles with Big Blind Special

Level 9 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

The action was caught on a board of {3-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{10-Spades} with around 19,000 in the middle. Michael Hooper had bet 11,000 from the big blind and Marc Mueller thought for a while before putting in enough chips to put Mueller all-in. Mueller sighed but called to put himself at risk and their holdings were shown down.

Michael Hooper: {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Marc Mueller: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Hooper was in the lead with his flopped two pair but needed to fade straight and flush outs to secure the double-up. The river was a blank in the form of the {5-Hearts} and Hooper scooped a pot of nearly six figures after Mueller paid the 38,000 due.

Waters' Aces Cracked

Level 9 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Danny Cotton raised from under the gun and received calls from Clemeent Addalou in early position, Benny Glaser on the button and Timothy O'Sullivan in the small blind. Charlotte Waters was in the big blind and made it 5,500 to go, leaving 16,000 behind.

Cotton also went all-in and this was enough to scare away the rest of the field, who all mucked their hands. Waters snap called and instantly opened her hand in excitement.

Charlotte Waters: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Danny Cotton: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Waters was in tredmendous shape to double up, but Cotton turned Broadway on the {2-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. The river {10-Clubs} did not bring a chop for Waters and she said goodbye to her former table mates.

Noel Hayes raised from early position and picked up calls from Woody Christy and Tarek Qunber. Gary Satelle then made the shove all in for 10,500, Christy called and Satelle went all in for 22,000. Christy made the call and three players flipped their cards.

Gary Satelle: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Tarek Qunber: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Woody Christy: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

Christy had both of his opponents covered and looked in strong shape with his pocket pair. However, the board ran out {9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{k-Hearts} to give Qunber a pair of aces and Satelle a pair of aces with the queen kicker.

Qunber scooped the side pot and Satelle got the triple up.

Hand Limps in Kings

Level 9 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Fintan Hand
Fintan Hand

The action on the feature table folded around to Fintan Hand in the small blind. He chose to limp in for 800 and big blind Tudor Neacsu checked his option.

The flop came down {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{a-Spades} and Hand checked to Neacsu, who bet 1,500. Hand quickly called and the two of them saw the turn of {a-Hearts}. Both players swiftly checked and the {7-Hearts} river was dealt.

Hand now put a bet out worth about the size of the pot: 5,500 chips. Neacsu thought it over for a bit but eventually called. Hand tabled {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} and the second-best starting hand in hold 'em was good enough to win him the pot.

O'Dwyer Gets Shown the Bluff

Level 10 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

There were around 30,000 chips in the middle of the table and an all-in triangle was put in front of Vincent McNamee. There was a completed board of {4-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Steve O'Dwyer was deep in the tank.

The bet totaled around 35,000 and after some time O'Dwyer decided that folding was the course of action.

''It's not every day you get to put Steve O'Dwyer in the blender'', someone at their table remarked. This prompted McNamee to show the {9-Spades}{7-Spades}, much to the amusement of the players.
