Ninh Loses Some
Level 36
: Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Mark Johnston raised to 1,000,000 from under the gun with A♣J♣ and Hiep Ninh made the call from one seat over with 8♦8♣.
Johnston continued for 650,000 on the 7♥7♦A♦ flop and Ninh made the call. Johnston slowed down and checked the 3♥ turn, which prompted Ninh to make a bet of 1,500,000.
Johnston called with his top pair and the 2♠ river subsequentially went check-check. Johnston showed first and took down the pot when Ninh's eights hit the muck.
