Mark Roovers raised to 2,000 from early position and Jari Mahonen called in the small blind. Mario Nicoforo defended the big blind and the three went off to a flop of J♣A♣2♥, which got checked through.
Mahonen then fired 2,500 on the 7♦ turn, which only Roovers called. On the 7♥ river, Mahonen sized up to 7,500, but Roovers upped the ante even more with a raise to 22,400.
Mahonen spent some time in the tank before forfeiting his cards and thus the pot to Roovers.
