Wilson Sniffs Out Skarparis's River Lead

Simon Wilson opened to 1,600,000 from early position. Georgios Skarparis called in the big blind.

He check-called a bet of 1,100,000 on the flop of 2♠J♥Q♣ before checking again on the 3♥ turn. Wilson checked back.

Skarparis then led for 6,000,000 on the 4♦ river, which was about the size of the pot. Wilson went into the tank for around three minutes before calling.

Georgios Skarparis had A♠9♠ for a bluff and Wilson had K♣J♣ and took the pot.
