Horstman Mucks at Showdown

Patrick Cole

Level 9 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Giuliano Benedelli opened to 1,600 from the hijack. Jordie Horstman defended the big blind.

Horstman check-called a bet of 3,000 on the 3♦A♠5♠ flop before check-calling again on the Q♦ turn. This time Benedelli sized up to 5,500.

Horstman then led the J♠ river for 11,500. Benedelli called. Horstman was reluctant to show and he mucked his hand, forfeiting the pot.
