Farrell Falls Before the Money
Level 18
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
On a 4♦3♠8♥2♠2♣ board, Niall Farrell had checked from the big blind before he was put all in by Dean Clay on the button.
The pot amounted to 230,000, and Farrell had 145,000 in his stack as he took a few moments to think it through.
Eventually, he made the call for his tournament life. Clay tabled Q♠Q♦ for on overpair, besting the 8♦6♥ of Farrell and sending him to the rail.
