Oleksii Buhrim raised his button to 80,000, after which Glenn Davies moved all in for 570,000 from the small blind. Buhrim asked for a count and quickly called after receiving it.
Glenn Davies: J♠J♦
Oleksii Buhrim: 9♥9♦
Davies was in a strong position to double up, especially after the A♣6♣5♥ flop and 2♦ turn. The 9♠ river, however, saw Buhrim hit his two-outer, eliminating Davies with a bad beat.
Davies raked in the chips with a grimace. "At least you made €3,000," he tried to console his opponent.
"That will not make him feel better," Radoslaw Kopec laughed in the adjacent seat.
Zach Moger opened from middle position to 65,000. Lisa Roberts moved all in for around 250,000 in the hijack. Action folded around to Moger who made the call.
Lisa Roberts: 2♣2♦
Zach Moger: 9♠9♣
Roberts couldn't find a duck across the K♥3♦8♣A♠ runout and she was eliminated.
Cheng Chen had opened from the hijack when Yuriy Boyko piled in his 415,000 from the small blind. Chen looked his opponent up with the covering stack, revealing the cards.
Yuriy Boyko: A♦2♦
Cheng Chen: K♦Q♠
Chen flopped a gutshot on 7♥10♠9♣, but Boyko's ace-high remained the best hand on the 7♠5♣ runout, doubling him up.
Chrysochoidis hit a higher pair on the 10♦ turn, with the 7♣ river changing nothing. Coyle said his goodbyes as Chrysochoidis stacked up his former chips.
Nir Sharon opened from the button 65,000. Jose Jaraiz called in the big blind.
On the 7♠8♠J♣ flop, Jaraiz checked to Sharon who bet 40,000. Jaraiz then check-raised to 160,000. Sharon called. The 4♥ turn was checked around before the J♥ river was dealt. After a minute in the tank, Jaraiz moved all in. Sharon then himself went into the tank but found the fold.
Under the gun, Samuel Polack made a bet of 250,000 into a pot of 525,000 on a turn of 8♥2♦5♠2♣. David Ledden put in a call after some thinking time, after which the K♦ river was put on the table.
Polack decided to go all in, covering the 450,000 of Ledden. Ledden went into the tank again, again resulting in a call.
Polack tabled Q♦Q♣ for a pair of queens, beating the 10♠10♥ of Ledden and sending him to the rail early on Day 3.
Action was picked up on the turn of 6♥9♥10♠4♣ with Mengshi Tian all in for around 300,000. Roman Criado wss in the tank on the button. The all in was worth around half the pot.
After a minute or so more, he made the call.
Mengshi Tian: Q♣Q♥
Roman Criado: 9♦7♦
Criado hit a straight on the 8♦ river to eliminate Tian.
