Egan Eviscerates O'Donovan
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Lee Egan in middle position and Kieran O'Donovan in the hijack had built a pot of 125,000 when Egan slid in a bet of 25,000 on the completed board of 9♠2♦K♠7♥8♠, enough to put his opponent all-in.
O'Donovan weighed his options for a while, but deemed his odds to good and called for his tournament life.
Egan triumphantly tabled K♦K♣ for top set, leaving the A♥9♦ of O'Donovan in the dust and sending his neighbor to the rail.
