Narcis Nedelcu saw A♦6♦ under the gun and raised to 1,600,000. It folded to Oliver Gayko, who defended his big blind with A♥7♦. Nedelcu tossed in 2,200,000 on the K♦J♠8♣ flop, enough to take the pot as Gayko quickly folded.
On the next deal, Gayko raised to 1,800,000 in the small blind. Nedelcu was in the big blind and three-bet to 6,000,000. Gayko called, and the 7♣10♠8♥ was spread.
Both players tapped the table for a check, and did so too when the 9♥ arrived on the turn. Gayko then barreled 5,000,000 chips on the 7♥ river, sending Nedelcu in the tank.
The Romanian regular spent two time banks before he called, but his 9♣5♠ was no match for the 6♠6♥ of Gayko, who chipped up with his turned straight.
