Nedelcu Gets Away From Eights
Level 38
: Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Narcis Nedelcu found 8♠8♦ in the hijack and raised to 2,000,000. Daryl McAleenan was in the small blind and looked down at K♥K♣. He bumped it up to 7,500,000, sending Nedelcu in the tank.
After spending a time bank, Nedelcu got rid of his pocket pair, granting the pot to McAleenan without further contest.
