Frankland Arrives Late; Eliminates a Player On His First Hand
Mathew Frankland has slight transport problems on his way to ISPT Wembley Day 3 and arrived slightly late to his seat on Table 27. His late arrival seems to have done him no harm, on fact he just eliminated one player on the very first hand he played today.
Mark Gardener opened in middle position for 3,200 and Frankland called from the next seat over. Dmitry Slaykovski called in the cutoff and Antonio Leotta called on the button. Down to 19,600 and in need of chips, Jose Garcia moved all in from the big blind. Gardener got out of the way, but Frankland moved all in for an effective shove of around 46,000 due to the other players' stacks. Both active players folded and the cards were turned onto their backs.

Garcia fell behind on the but he was not out of it just yet because he still had an overcard and a club flush draw to fall back on. The turn was black but the wrong suit, as was the on the river. Garcia eliminated and Frankland is climbing towards 200,000 chips.
