Vulovic Wins a Small Pot

Level 4 : 200/500, 0 ante

Some players had not returned to their seats in time and Jan-Peter Jachtmann played a heads-up pot with Predrag Vulovic on the {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop on which the latter bet 3,000 and the former called. The {a-Hearts} river brought a check-call for 5,000 by Vulovic and they checked the {2-Clubs} on the river.

Vulovic tabled the {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} and that won the pot.

Christian Stratmeyer has also joined the action to boost the field to nearly 30 entries.

Hamie Busts Tutus

Level 4 : 200/500, 0 ante
Tuncay Tutus
Tuncay Tutus

On a flop of {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Pedjman Hamie made it 4,500 to go for just shy of the pot size and Tuncay Tutus splashed in a pot-sized raise. Hamie jammed it in and Tutus called it off to set up the following showdown.

Tuncay Tutus: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Pedjman Hamie: {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The {j-Hearts} turn and {7-Spades} river runout failed to improve Tutus and he was eliminated.

Engelke Out Once More

Level 4 : 200/500, 0 ante

Three ways to the {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} flop, Willm Engelke in the small blind called a bet of 5,000 by Jonas Kronwitter in the big blind as The Talk reluctantly folded on the button. The {6-Hearts} followed on the turn and Engelke led for 7,000, which Kronwitter called.

Engelke also bet the {7-Diamonds} river for 13,000 and Kronwitter folded. While Engelke chipped up, he then lost chips and eventually chased the second nut flush draw and backdoor diamond draw only to run into the straight of Uemit Guenduez.

At the same time, Jan-Peter Jachtmann raked in the chips of Wlodzimierz Laczkowski to retake the lead and Engelke re-entered for his third bullet on the same table.

Rehman Eliminated by Hamie

Level 4 : 200/500, 0 ante
Saeed Rehman
Saeed Rehman

Two players limped in as Andre Ellbracht and Jules Ayoub tossed in a 500 chip. Saeed Rehman jammed for the last of it and picked up calls by Pedjman Hamie in the big blind as well as Ayoub.

The two remaining active players checked the {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and the {3-Spades} turn. After the {k-Clubs} river, Hamie bet just 1,500 and Ayoub folded.

Hamie turned over {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for a full house kings over treys and Rehman departed with {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds},

Vulovic and Engelke Down; Jachtmann and Tutus Up

Level 5 : 300/600, 0 ante

Tuncay Tutus explained that he had doubled with a set of aces against a set of jacks by Predrag Vulovic who admitted in table chat that he had floated with two pair. "Jacks was the last hand I expected there," Tutus replied.

Shortly after, Jan-Peter Jachtmann check-raised the {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} turn from 5,000 to 20,000 when facing a bet by Willm Engelke. A pained expression on the face by Engelke followed and he sent his cards into the muck, Jachtmann rolled over the {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for the best of it.

Bad Day at the Office for Engelke

Level 5 : 300/600, 0 ante

Roman Cieslik defended the big blind and got it in against Willm Engelke on a flop of {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} to flip over {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} for two pair and a gutshot. Engelke was at risk with {a-}{q-}{q-}{10-} for a pair of aces and different gutshot. Two blanks on the turn and river followed as the dealer quickly scooped up the pot and awarded the chips to Cieslik.

It was the third bullet for Engelke who quickly left the tournament area.
