Tobias Peters Eliminated in 3rd Place (€58,100)
Level 26
: Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Andre Winkler folded on the button, Marco Giordano open-shoved from the small blind, and after some thought, Tobias Peters called for 7,350,000 in the big blind.
Tobias Peters: A♦9♣
Marco Giordano: 5♠5♥
Peters gained counterfeit outs on the 6♥K♣K♥ flop and 7♣ turn, and despite him politely requesting a six, the river came the 3♠ instead.
Peters was sent to the rail in third place, setting up the heads-up battle between Giordano and Winkler.
