Winkler Gets Giordano Off Chop
Level 26
: Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Andre Winkler limped in on the button, and Marco Giordano checked his option in the big blind. Both players checked the 9♦9♥10♦ flop, and Giordano checked again on the 9♣ turn.
Winkler then bet 300,000, and Giordano called. Winkler sized up to 1,600,000 on the 7♣ river. Giordano check-folded what he claimed was five-high, and Winkler showed that he was also playing the board with 6♥4♦.
