Haus Holds Against Casagrande; Marcu Exits a Second Time
Level 11
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
With 173,000 in the pot, Paul Haus checked the J♠4♥2♠ flop from the small blind to Harry Casagrande in the big blind. Casagrande bet 75,000, and Haus moved all in for 403,000.
Casagrande mulled it over for a bit, but eventually shrugged and called with the covering stack.
Paul Haus: A♦J♣7♦4♣
Harry Casagrande: K♠K♥10♥2♦
Haus had flopped two pair, and it remained the best hand on the 8♠ turn and 6♦ river to earn a double-up. Just before, Robert Marcu had booked his second exit of Day 2, opting not to reenter for now.
