Small Pair Enough for Witsch
Level 33
: Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Nick Pronk raised on the button to 2,100,000, and Alexander Witsch made the call in the big blind. Witsch checked the Q♠10♣4♦ flop, and Pronk continued for 1,800,000.
Witsch slid in a call, and both players checked through the 6♦ turn. Another pair of checks followed the 9♣ river, and Witsch showed 8♣4♣ for a pair of fours. That was enough to claim the pot, as Pronk took one last look at his cards before sending them into the muck.
