Better Kicker for Kesidis
Level 35
: Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante
Kyriakos Kesidis opened to 3,600,000 with A♠Q♠ in early position, and Gal Naim defended his big blind holding A♥J♠. Naim checked the 10♥8♣7♣ flop, and Kesidis continued for 4,000,000.
The call was made, and Naim checked again on the A♣ turn. Kesidis counted out a bet of 8,600,000, and Naim took some time before sliding in a call.
The 5♦ river produced checks from both players, and Kesidis showed down his superior kicker to claim the pot.
