Its hard to tell who is the early chip leader with more than 40 tables in play but it could be Aleksei Petrov who is sitting on a stack of around 100,000 in chips.
Petrov recently picked up some chips in a pot against Radovan Kakulos.
The pot between the two built up to 14,000 with the 
on the board. Kakulos checked and Petrov bet 8,500. Kakulos tanked for a minute before he tapped the table and folded his hand.
