Sipavicius Eliminated

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Aurelijus Sipavicius three-bet jammed with {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} a player from the button with {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and was called.

Sipavicius was ahead when the chips were committed but needed some help after his opponent paired the {9-Diamonds}{3-}{5-} flop. The {2-Diamonds} came on the turn to give Sipavicius a flush draw but this failed to complete with the {8-} appearing on the river instead.

Also eliminated were Sergejs Sarutins and Michal Janeczko at the TV table and Aleksi Himanen on a side table. Himanen shared he went out getting his short stack in with {a-}{9-} and didn't get any help after his opponent called with {a-}{k-}.

Peter Bergman
Peter Bergman

Peter Bergman and Day 2 chip leader Akseli Paalanen busted at the same time on different tables.

Bergman shoved for less than 10 big blinds from under the gun with {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and didn't get there against the {a-}{a-} held by his opponent.

Akseli Paalanen got the rest of his chips with {a-}{k-} and didn't hold against the {a-}{10-} held by his opponent.

Zitting Ousts Babayev

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Kristian Zitting
Kristian Zitting

Kristian Zitting has gone from a below-average stack to one of the heroes after taking out the last two players.

He opened for 35,000 from the button. The player in the small blind called before Agharazi Babayev three-bet jammed for about 450,000.

Zitting snap-called and the player in the small blind folded.

Agharazi Babayev: {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Kristian Zitting: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Zitting's aces were never in jeopardy and Babayev was eliminated after the {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board failed to help him.

End of the Road for Siljander

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Reigning Coolbet Open champion Mathias Siljander won't be adding a Kings of Tallinn Main Event trophy to his collection this year.

His run ended in 32nd place after he jammed {q-Spades}{6-Spades} from the small blind for nine big blinds and got called by the {a-}{4-} held by Kristian Zitting in the big blind.

The board ran all blanks and now instead Siljander can attempt to add a Kings of Tallinn High Roller trophy instead with late registration still open.

Siim Silver

The field is down to 32 players after the eliminations of Jukka Ylitalo and Siim Silver on the TV table.

Hokkanen Ousts Piira

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Heikki Piira had about 10 big blinds left when he got them all in with {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} only to run into the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} held by Jaakko Hokkanen.

It was over before it even began with Hokkanen hitting a set on the {k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop. The {4-Hearts} on the turn gave Piira some hope for a straight but instead, he bricked with the {j-Clubs} completing the board on the river.

Also out around the same time was Marek Selgeveer.

Saariaho Pushes Off Hokkanen

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jaakko Hokkanen bet 60,000 into a pot of around 150,000 with the {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} on the board. Samuel Saariaho raised to 176,000 and Hokkanen tanked for more than two minutes before he made the call.

Hokkanen checked after the {k-Clubs} completed the board on the river and Saariaho jammed for 550,000.

This covered the around 480,000 Hokkanen had in his stack and he tanked for several minutes before he made the fold.

Meanwhile, Johan Karlsson has built up his chip leading stack to 2 million.

Cleven Doubles

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Johannes Cleven had his last 261,000 chips committed preflop with {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} against Remigiusz Wyrzykiewicz with {a-Spades}{k-Spades}.

It looked like it would be showers for Cleven, especially after he missed the {3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop. But, he paired up after the {q-Hearts} came on the turn and doubled his stack after the {2-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.
