Jose Nadal Eliminated in 26th Place; Hector Luis Aceval Eliminated in 25th Place ($14,120)

Julian De Berti eliminated two players in one fell swoop with a brutal card on the river. All the money went in before the flop and here's what the players turned over:

Julian De Berti: {K-Clubs} {J-Hearts}
Hector Luis Aceval: {8-Diamonds} {8-Spades}
Jose Nadal: {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts}

The {8-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} gave Aceval a set and De Berti a straight draw. The {K-Spades} fell on the turn and that gave Nadal two pair and a chance at a higher full house. But on the river, De Berti spiked the {9-Hearts} to give him a straight and send Nadal out in 26th place and Aceval out in 25th.

Robin Chesne Eliminated in 24th Place ($14,120)

The board ran out {3-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} and the four diamonds on the board gave Van Dijk the higher flush and ended Chesne's run.

Pat Van Dijk Eliminated in 18th Place ($17,640)

Pat Van Dijk --18th Place
Pat Van Dijk --18th Place
Van Dijk was all in with {A-Spades} {2-Diamonds} against Alfons Fenijn's {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}, and when the flop came {A-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {5-Clubs}, the two grinned at each other from across the felt. Both players are from the Netherlands and might well be friends, because when the turn delivered the {10-Spades} to turn the tables Fenijn's way, he reached his arms out across the table and smiled with some regret. The {J-Hearts} came on the river and the two hugged briefly before Van Dijk headed for the rail
