On Your Mark...

Seven of our eight final tablists have taken their seats at the final table stage, inside the makeshift poker room that is the Paradisus Playa Conchal Convention Center.

Tournament Director Greg Pappas has just invited the players to step outside and take a smoke break if necessary before we get underway.

The cards should be in the air in approximately 10 minutes.

Shuffle Up and Deal!

After some brief announcements from the tournament director, the cards are in the air! Within a few hours, the first champion of the LAPT's Season 3 will be crowned!

First Action

Usually it takes a little bit for the players to warm up and get into the groove. Action folded to Rogelio Pardo on the button and he raised to 50,000. Carlos Giron was the only caller from the small blind.

The flop came down {8-Spades} {4-Hearts} {2-Spades} and both players checked. The turn was checked as well after the {9-Spades} hit the felt. After the river came the {9-Clubs}, Giron bet 25,000. Pardo folded, allowing Giron to take the pot. Giron showed the {9-Hearts}.

De Koster Shoves

Patrick De Koster was the first player to move all in at the final table. Action folded to him in the cutoff seat and he shoved for roughly 280,000 chips. Everyone folded and he added 46,000 chips to his stack.

After the flop came down {K-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {4-Hearts}, Giron led with a bet of 43,000. Bergren took a minute, double checked his hole cards and then popped in a raise to 200,000 flat. Giron folded.
