Another day of Lex Live 2 in London at the Aspers Casino and for today there is not one, but two £230 Main Event flights scheduled to take place. The first one is Day 1e and will start at 1 p.m. local time and the other will be Day 1f and that one will have the shuffle up and deal announced at 6 p.m. local time. The event features a wonderful £100,000 guaranteed prize pool.

So far only 56 players have made it through to Day 2 of the tournament out of 298 entries that were made across the first four starting flights. The overall chip leader right now is Hasan Gul. He finished Day 1d with 595,500 in chips and has a big lead on the number two, Robert Ionut with 400,000. The players will all try their best to beat Gul his stack.

Both flights of the tournament will feature fourteen 30-minute levels and a starting stack of 30,000. The first level of the day will be 100/100 and they will end with 2,000/4,000 with a 4,000 big blind ante. Registration will remain open for eight levels and players are allowed to reenter as many times as their heart desires. We've learned from previous flights that about 20 percent of the field will survive the day.

Other activities that are planned for today are the FU Flipout, a tournament where everyone flips for 5 big blinds after every level, and a beer pong activity. PokerNews will be on-site to provide coverage for Day 1e and chip counts will be posted of Day 1f later in the night.

Shaban Eliminated

Arlie Shaban has been playing a stack on the shorter side for most of the day and he is now eliminated and on his way to play beer pong. Shaban was kind enough to share the details of his bust out on his way out.

''There was a raise, then a jam, I rejammed with ace-queen. The initial raiser folded and the all-in player had pocket fives. I bricked every street and that was it.''

Shaban added that was ''down to play everything tomorrow'' so we will see him back in the Main Event again tomorrow.

Henri "Buehlero" Buehler and Mason "Pyefacepoker" Pye Among Day 1e Survivors

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Henri Buehler

The fifth starting flight of the £230 Main Event at Lex Live 2 in the Aspers Casino in London is in the books and it was the biggest flight so far. A total of 93 unique entries were made and another 21 reentries were made on top of that to create a total of 114 entries. Only 24 made it through to Day 2 and Juan Avila finished the day with the chip lead after bagging 336,500. Henri 'Buehlero' Buehler (81,000) and PokerStars streamer Mason 'Pyefacepoker' Pye (146,000) both made it through to Day 2 as well.

The total number of entrants in the first five flights is 412 and 80 of those made it through to Day 2. There is still a flight running at the moment and chip counts will be posted when the day is over. There will be another flight and a special turbo flight on Friday, October 4th.

Day 1e Action
The day started with 48 players registered and that number quickly grew to 93 unique entries. Another 21 reentries were made to create the biggest starting flight to date. Plenty of familiar faces showed up for the early flight as there was a beer pong activity planned for later in the day and most of the community members chose to play the early flight and attend the beer pong event after.

A couple of familiar faces that made it through to Day 2 include community member Daniel 'Neryus' Moes (200,500), Joan Hadley (160,500), Pye (146,000), Director of Poker Product at PokerStars Chris Straghalis (132,000), and Buehler (81,000). They will all return on Saturday, October 5th to play Day 2 of the tournament.

A couple of the community members that didn't make it through to Day 2 include Tjenno 'TjennoE' Eskes, Nadia 'Kaboompoker' Wanzi, Sander Groeneveld, Gardar 'viTNE' Svavarsson, and Chris 'Chrism' Martin. They all have two more shots at making it through to Day 2 on Friday, October 4th.

Plenty of PokerStars ambassadors showed up, but 'Pyefacepoker' was the only one to actually make it through to Day 2. Chris Moneymaker, Fintan 'EasyWithAces' Hand, Tom 'Pleb_Method' Hayward, and Arlie Shaban registered the tournament but all failed to find a bag at the end of the day. Shaban came close but he lost a flip at the end of the day with ace-queen against pocket fives and he wasn't able to hit anything and he was eliminated.

There was a success for the PokerStars squad, but it didn't come in the Main Event. Benjamin 'Spraggy' Spragg managed to win the £40 FU Flip tournament. He beat Michael Perks in a heads-up battle while Spraggy's own brother came third in the tournament. Community member and Lex Veldhuis his YouTube editor Dwight 'Extempore' van der Wal came in fourth. Spraggy took home 601 for the win, but most importantly, he snagged away a trophy to take home.

Day 1f started at 6 p.m. local time and there are 87 entries made at the moment. Chip counts will be uploaded as soon as they are available after the flight has ended.

PokerNews will return to Aspers Casino tomorrow to provide coverage of Day 1g of the tournament. Cards will be in the air at 12:00 noon and a second flight with 20-minute levels will start at 6 p.m. local time.
