Pak Hits Quads

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

We missed the exact pre flop action, but we're sure all of the chips went to the middle before community cards were dealt for Aleksandr Pak and his opponent.

Pak was the proud owner of {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}, but was in bad shape against his opponent's {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}.

The flop would benefit Pak though as he spiked a king: {Q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}. The {Q-Hearts} on the turn made his top set into a full house, and the {K-Clubs} on the river would make things look even prettier.

Pak now had double starting stack, his opponent made his way to the exit.

Pak Makes it Big

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

We just saw Aleksandr Pak win another rather big pot. It all went too quickly to grasp as we approached and saw Pak just check-call the bet of his opponent.

His opponent mucked, Pak did the same, and the dealer immediately removed the board and shoved the chips to Pak. The player from Uzbekistan now has well over 100,000 in chips. We imagine that makes him one of the chip leaders.

Gueorguiev Can't Beat King-Seven

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

On a {5-Spades}{K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}-board we just saw Atanas Gueorguiev call a 4,600 bet. His opponent, seated in the small blind, checked the {4-Spades} on the river. Gueorguiev in middle position quickly checked behind.

Gueorguiev's opponent tabled {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Gueorguiev silently mucked. Gueorguiev is still up for the day, he plays a little over 35,000 at the moment.

Troyanovskiy Donk Bets Twice

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

On an {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop we saw the small blind gently tap the table. Vladimir Troyanovskiy, seated in the big blind, didn't follow suit and bet out 600. The player on the button, who appeared to be the initial raiser, raised it up to 1,500. The small blind quickly released his hand and Troyanovskiy called.

The turn brought the {3-Clubs} to the table and Troyanovskiy again lead. This time he tossed two 1,000 chips to the middle. Facing this 2,000 bet, the player on the button contemplated his action. He thought about it for some time and it looked like he wanted to raise again.

Eventually he decided against raising though, quietly sliding his two cards over the line indicating the fold.
