Gueorguiev Grabs a Small One

Level 8 : 300/600, 100 ante

Atanas Gueorguiev opened under the gun to 1,200, and just the big blind made the call. Both players checked the {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{Q-Clubs} flop and {A-Clubs} turn.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and the big blind bet out a mere 600. Gueorguiev made the call.

The big blind showed {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for third pair and a missed flush draw. For a second we thought it was good, but Gueorguiev tabled {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and took it down anyway.

Troyanovskiy Busts Another One

Level 8 : 300/600, 100 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

Vladimir Troyanovskiy just casually raised someones 2,400 bet to 5,700 without even looking up from his tablet. The flop read {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and a third involved player folded. The initial better shoved all in for 16,400 and Troyanovskiy made the call.

Troyanovskiy was in the lead holding {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} as his opponent had an unimproved {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} to show for. The {6-Hearts} was a beautiful card for Troyanovskiy as it took away the {A-Hearts} as an out for his opponent. The {10-Diamonds} on the river was a blank and Troyanovskiy eliminated a player without even really putting any effort into it.

Level 8 : 300/600, 100 ante

Just before the break the player on the button opened for 1,000. From the small blind it was Atanas Guerguiev who made it 2,450 and Vladimir Troyanovskiy in the big blind cold called. The button came along as well.

{J-Spades}{K-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} on the flop and Gueorguiev checked. Troyanovskiy, who was playing online poker on his tablet again, bet out 3,500 without looking up. The button folded, and so did Gueorguiev after two seconds.

Unsal The Brave

Level 8 : 300/600, 100 ante

The last hand before the break, we saw Onur Unsal open under the gun for 1,100, and he received no less than four callers before action was on Jorn Walthaus in the big blind. The Dutchman squeezed to 5,000 and action was on Unsal. The Turkish player thought for a little bit, before pushing all in for 32,225 total.

Everyone quickly folded, including Jorn Walthaus. Unsal showed {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and took it down without having to go to the trouble of showdown.

Orlov Gets Lucky Again

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

In the beginning of the day, things weren't looking too good for Alexander Orlov as he was rivered and lost a big pot to Jorn Walthaus. Ever since though, Orlov hasn't had much to complain about.

Just now we saw him check raise someone's 3,200 bet on {5-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} to 6,400. His opponent pushed all in and Orlov made the call. Orlov's opponent had the best hand holding {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, Orlov needed some help with his {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The {10-Clubs} was just what the doctor ordered, and the {A-Hearts} on the river didn't change a thing.

Orlov is now up to 63,000, his opponent is all out of chips.
