More Than Just Poker
The 2014 Cyprus Live Events International is a true festival of poker tournaments. It all started August 1st, and runs until August 12th. There have been a lot of different events, including 6-max tournaments, an Iron Man tournament without any breaks, a "Crazy Open Rebuy" tournament, and a freeroll to the Main Event satellite.
But there's more than just poker to be played this week. A lot of the players brought their family to the beautiful Noah's Ark Resort, and there are a lot of activities for everyone. Not only is there a water park on the resort, and are their tennis courts, numerous huge pools and a sandy beach to enjoy, the Live Events International organization also organized activities for the players. Besides a big party and a concert last night, the players were challenged to partake in a soccer match, a volleyball match, and as we speak a lot of the players who played yesterday are playing basketball.
So you see, it's not just poker here this week in North Cyprys!
