Day 1b Begins in One Hour
PokerNews is ready for another beautiful day of poker in Noah's Ark Resort in Cyprus. Day 1b of the $1,500 Main Event will start at 1 p.m., so in about an hour the cards should once again be flying.
The players will be playing nine 45-minute levels today, and they're able to re-enter the entire day. Even on Day 2, which starts tomorrow, players are able to re-enter for the first three levels. There will be no dinner break, just two 15 minute breaks. Play ends around 8:15 tonight.
None other than accomplished tournament director Thomas Kremser will be in charge of things today again. Yesterday 172 entries were made, already shattering the guaranteed $200,000 prize pool. Things can only get bigger today, although we expect a bit fewer players compared to Day 1a.
PokerNews will be on sight the entire day to bring you all the updates on the biggest hands, the worst bad beats and the biggest all ins. If you have someone you would like us to keep track of, use Twitter and tweet @Webjoker to let us know who's your favorite in the field and who we should keep our eyes on.
