McEvoy Calls at the Buzzer

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The flop read {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

Anthony Reynolds jammed into two players. The first player folded and the decision was on Aaron McEvoy who thought for a while.

Eventually Reynolds called the clock and the floor came over to administer the count. The countdown from 30 seconds was nearly complete before McEvoy put the chips in with 2 seconds left and turned over the {k-Spades}{9-Spades}.

Reynolds was a bit perturbed by the king and turned over the {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. The board ran out {4-Spades} and {4-Diamonds} for the double for McEvoy.

"I thought you had an ace, thinking that long!" said Reynolds.

"If you have a king my king my kicker is rarely good" said McEvoy in response as both players discussed their thoughts on the hand out loud.
