Double-up for Jack

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Lloyd Jack moved all-in for 36,000 and was called by Luc Bindel

Lloyd Jack: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Luc Bindel: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

An interesting flop of {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} gave Bindel the lead with bottom pair. The {10-Spades} turned things around for Jack as he hit the Broadway straight. Bindel did not house-up on the river as the {7-Diamonds} landed to confirm Jack's double-up

Bindel Knocked Out

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Mickael Thomas bet 8,000 from early position and was called by Jacek Pustula. Luc Bindel moved all-in for his remaining 26,000 chips. Thomas four-bet to 50,000 which was enough for Pustula to fold.

Mickael Thomas: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Luc Bindel: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The {10-Spades} in the window was enough to send Bindel to the rail as the board ran out {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Thomas is amongst the chip leaders in the room.

Guerrero Hero Calls With Eight High

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Antonio Guerrero
Antonio Guerrero

Alexis Lucarini opened to 8,000 from middle position and was called by Antonio Guerrero and Nicolas Giannotti from the button and big blind respectively.

Action checked to Guerrero on the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop, he bet 13,000 and only Giannotti called.

The {a-Clubs} turn checked through to the {q-Spades} river and Giannotti bet 22,000. Guerrero paused for a moment and then called.

Giannotti turned over the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} while Guerrero held the {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}. The entire table gasped as Giannotti won the hand with ten-high.

One player exclaimed "sick value bet!"

Guerrero explained to the table he put his opponent on a seven or worse pocket pair and that his eight-high would be the best play.

The 39 remaining players in the €220 Bounty Hunter Malta have now all locked up a min-cash of €220 as well as their claimed bounties.

The unfortunate player to miss out on the money was Pavel Heger, and everybody who is still in the event will be battling it out for the €6,500 first place prize.

Double-up on Last Hand for Decesare

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On the final hand of the day, Endrit Geci bet 8,000 and was shoved on by Shaun Decesare for 47,500. Action folded to Geci who called.

Endrit Geci: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Shaun Decesare: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

There was no help for Geci as the board ran out {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} to double-up Decesare and leaves plenty of work to do for Geci on Sunday.
