Assennato Pressures Scicluna
Level 11
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Justin Scicluna opened to 7,500 under the gun, and received calls from Fabio Assennato on the button and the big blind.
On the J♦7♥3♦ flop, action was checked to Scicluna, who continued with a bet of 7,000. Only Assennato called.
The 8♠ hit on the turn, and Scicluna fired out a bet of 11,500. After quite a bit of deliberation, Assenato raised to 30,500. Scicluna didn't seem to be expecting it, and took a long time before making the call.
The Q♣ completed the board, and Scicluna checked. Assenato jammed for 75,000, and Scicluna went into the tank, but ultimately had to fold.
