Justin Scicluna opened to 17,000 from the button, and was called by Vincenzo Popolo in the small blind.
The K♠9♣5♦ flop was checked through to the 10♠ river after Popolo checked in the dark.
The 10♠ hit on the turn, and Popolo check-called versus a bet of 18,000 from Scicluna. The 7♣ river completed the board, and Popolo check-folded in the face of a 40,000 bet from Scicluna.
Scicluna tabled Q♥7♠ for the rivered pair of sevens, but he clearly deemed it to be a bluff.
