Angelo Vietti opened to 12,000 from the cutoff, and Aurelio Vallone defended the big blind.

Vallone check-called in the face of a bet of 10,000 from Vietti on the A♦J♥4♠ flop.

The Q♦ hit on the turn, and after a bit of thought, Vallone folded in the face of a double-barrel of 25,000 from Vietti.

Padraig Burns opened to 15,000 from the button, and was met with a three-bet to 45,000 by Manoj Navani in the small blind.

Action back to Burns, who counted out his chips before four-bet jamming for around 115,000, earning a snap-call from Navani.

Around 33,000 was in the middle on a board pf J♠5♣4♠J♥, in a hand between Nicholas Galtos in the big blind and Alessandro Furneri in middle position.

Galtos led out with a bet of 15,000 and Furneri called.

The 6♠ river completed the board, and Galtos fired again with a bet of 20,000, with Furneri making the quick call.

Galtos tabled 10♠3♠ for the rivered flush, and Furneri sighed and open-folded J♣ for trip jacks.

A huge pot of 150,000 had developed by the river on a board of 10♣8♣2♠9♥3♥, in a hand between Colin Lovelock and Adrian Trigo.

Lovelock checked to Trigo, who fired out a bet of 80,000. Lovelock looked pained and went into the tank, but ultimately decided he had to call.

He seemed to know deep down he was beat, and he placed the calling chips directly in front of Trigo as an indicator of where he believed they were going.

"Nuts" said Trigo, as he tabled Q♠J♠, "Knew it" said Lovelock as he mucked.
