Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Angelo Vietti
Angelo Vietti

Around 520,000 was in the middle, on a flop of J55, in a hand between Martijn Rendering under the gun and Angelo Vietti in middle position.

Rendering continued with a bet of 90,000 and Vietti called.

The 8 hit on the turn, and Rendering barreled again with a bet of 310,000. Again a quick call from Vietti.

The 8 river completed the board, and Rendering went for the triple-barrel, with a bet of 550,000 - Vietti snap-called.

Rendering tabled QQ but it was no good against Vietti's KK.

Matteo Ferrara

Ludovic Uzan opened to 120,000 from the button, before Matteo Ferrara three-bet jammed as the table chip leader. Boban Stevanovic was in the big blind and he got his 590,000 stack into the middle, with Uzan folding.

Matteo Ferrara: A5

"Apologies in advance" said Ferrara, as the players waited for the runout. Matthias Kribben was also seen collecting his payout just before the break.

Apologies were indeed necessary, as Ferrara rivered a flush on the KJ36K runout.

Stigter Hands Pot to Rendering

Level 21 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Martijn Rendering
Martijn Rendering

Another strange hand here - Martijn Rendering opened to 80,000 under the gun, and received calls from Uwe Behrendt in the cutoff and Jan Stigter in the big blind.

Action was checked to the raiser on the Q75 flop, and Rendering fired out a bet of 60,000, which only Stigter called.

The 8 turn was checked through to the J river, bringing one-card flush possibilities.

Stigter, first to act, and before Rendering had made any indication of the likelihood of him betting via any body movement, sent his cards immediately into the muck upon seeing the river.

Rendering showed 99 and was delighted.

In the next hand, Rendering made an error when attempting to call from the big blind versus Jaime Lozano Diaz's button raise, putting in chips amounting to a minimum raise.

After a delay with the floor being called and a ruling, Rendering then check-folded versus a minimum bet from Diaz on the ace-high flop.

Ludovic Uzan

Ludovic Uzan was sweeping in a triple-up, and Ian Morris was getting up out of his chair after losing a side pot to Matteo Ferrara in a three-way all-in. Uzan was all-in for 400,000, Morris had slightly more, and Ferrara had them both covered.

Ludovic Uzan: AA All in
Ian Morris: AQ All in
Matteo Ferrara: K3

Uzan was loving life with rockets, and he was still ahead after the Q66J3 runout. Morris busted to Ferrara after he rivered a pair of threes to beat Morris' ace-high.

Slow-Roll from Mawick?

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Carsten Mawick
Carsten Mawick

Dejan Prikulovic jammed from early position for 235,000, and action folded to Carsten Mawick in the big blind, playing about 800,000.

He peeked at his cards and said "Ahh I hate this hand, I really do", and asked for a count. On being informed of the amount he again informed the table about his distaste for the particular hand, but concluded "I can't fold", and made the call.

Dejan Prikulovic: 77 All in
Carsten Mawick: JJ

The entire table was astonished to see Mawick table jacks and he quipped "No of course its a call, but you don't know how much I hate this hand."

The A5429 runout contained no surprises and Prikulovic stood up to leave. "My friend I'll tell you about my history with this hand", and Prikulovic laughed and responded "It doesn't really matter now!"
