Only Mazza-Boussemart called to see the A♥ turn, where the same pattern followed, this time in respect of a bet of 900,000 from Barone.

The 6♠ river completed the board, and Mazza-Boussemart changed approach, leading out with a bet of 2,000,000. Barone quickly folded.

Riccardo Saraniero raised to 2,525,000 from under the gun, leaving himself 50,000 behind, and Erik Ostergaard called in the small blind.

Ostergaard said to Saraniero, "I'm all-in on the flop", and it duly came 10♦7♦3♦. Saraniero stalled for a bit to see if anyone would bust at the other table, but he eventually flicked the rest of his stack into the middle.

Saraniero needed help, particularly with no diamond, and although he got a pair on the river, it was not enough on the 5♣2♦ runout.

The 8♦7♠6♠ flop was checked to the 4♥ turn, where Mazza-Boussemart led out with a bet of 1,200,000.

McAdam called to see the 6♥ river, where he folded to a double-barrel of 3,350,000 from the Frenchman.

Mazza-Boussemart had also previously taken a pot against Thibaut Thevenet, with overpair queens against Thevenet's top pair nines on a low paired board.
