Bone Gets Sticky

Anthony Bone opened to 700 from the button, and was faced with a three-bet to 1,800 from Darren Smith in the big blind.

Bone called to see the K♠9♠6♣ flop, where Smith checked. Bone fired out a bet of 2,600, which failed to dispose of Smith.

The 4♣ turn was checked to the 5♣ river, where Smith checked for a third time. Bone slid out a bet of 4,100, and Smith called after a bit of thought.

"Ace-king is good if you've got it", ventured Smith, and he was surprised when Bone tabled 6♦5♠ for the rivered two pair.

"Wow, I reraised you pre" said the bemused Smith, as he mucked, allowing Bone to rake in a decent early pot.
