Benharmach Doubles

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Zakaria had previously doubled up his short stack, but the Spaniard then lost most of it back to Mouad Benharmach. Anas Tadini said "if you fold, I call his shove" to the table neighbor and Zakaria's {A-Spades}{9-Spades} failed to get there against Benharmach's {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Benharmach doubled for 63,400.

From Hero to Zero

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Mouad Benharmach had just doubled up, now he is gone and the chips went straight back to Zakaria! "He has been given the chips away, said he had something to do still," Anas Tadini joked.

Tadini then defended his big blind against a raise to 5,000 by Anthony Rodrigues and checked the flop {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. On the {5-Clubs} turn, Tadini check-called a small continuation bet and checked again the {2-Hearts} river. Rodrigues checked behind and Tadini announced a straight before showing {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} to win the pot.

Compte's Count is Zero

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Andre Vieira Andrade opened from under the gun, Mathieu Papineau three-bet from one seat over and Sebastien Compte then four-bet shoved for 50,000 out of the big blind with {A-}{Q-}. Andrade folded and later claimed he had ace-queen as well whereas Papineau snapped with {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}.

There was no surprise on the board and Compte's stack was reduced to zero.

Boatman Makes Things Complicated and Easy

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Barny Boatman just flat-called but tossed in a chip worth 5,000. Houcine El Otmani called the 2,400 and the big blind then tossed in a 5,000 chip as well. Floor was called and the latter was ruled to be a raise to 5,000. Boatman called, as did El Otmani. On the flop {K-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, the action was checked to Boatman and his tiny bet of 5,000 won the pot.

Torino No es Bonito

Marc Vadella opened to 6,000, Torito Sanchez then shoved for 43,800 from the cutoff and Riccardo Giacalone then called out of the small blind. Pieyre Maggi reluctantly folded, then saying he had pocket tens. Vadella reshoved and Giacalone tank-folded after time was called on him.

Sanchez: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Vadella: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Vadella scored another big pot.

Biague Shoves Into Tadini

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Until the {K-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Spades} river, a pot of what appeared to be 100,000 chips had emerged and Anas Tadini fired 20,000 out of the small blind. His sole opponent, Mathieu Biague in early position, then moved all in and Tadini asked for a count. It was 88,700 in total and Tadini asked the dealer to pull in his bet.

Another minute passed and the start-of-the-day leader eventually folded.
