There were 92 entrants to the Marrakech Poker Open High Roller including 21 re-entries, and there are currently 13 remaining. 32 started the day, in a field which included British pros Ludovic Geilich and Kuljinder Sidhu. November Niner Pierre Neuville was also present with an above average stack, but he would bust early on when his clashed with his opponent's on a board, with the Belgian coming off second best.
11 players will make the money in the tournament, with a min-cash worth 30,300 Dirhams (€2,815). However, each player will be eyeing up the first prize of 300,000 Dirhams (€27,878), the trophy, and the title of High Roller Champion.
Still in the mix is 2016 WSOP International Circuit winner Mathieu Selides, as well as his compatriot Paul Guichard and Arthur Conan. There are also home names still in the mix, including Abdelhadi Kondah and Houssine El Otmani.

Fadhil Farag raised to 16,000 from early position and Christophe Chaudey three-bet all in for 51,000. The remaining players at the table folded, and Farag called.

The flop seemed an unfavourable one for Chaudey in his fight for survival as it came , but it did give him a gutshot straight draw. The turn was the and the river the giving Farag a full house and eliminating Chaudey on the bubble. The remaining 11 players are all guaranteed 30,300 Dirham (€2,815).
Phu Truong bet 40,000 into around 70,000 on a board, and Hosseine El Otmani raised all in for 120,000. Truong folded face up and El Otmani took a timely boost to hist stack.
In the very next hand [Removed:432] raised to 20,000 under the gun and Truong three-bet all in for 89,000. It folded back around to [Removed:433] who called.

The flop came , but the on the turn turned a few heads as it gave Truong a flush draw. The river was the completely Truong's flush, and [Removed:433] slammed his hand against the table in apparent frustration as he handed over his chips to his opponent.
Houssein El Otmani moved all in from under the gun for his last 104,000. It folded around to [Removed:432] in the big blind who thought before throwing in the chips for a call.

The board ran out and El Otmani was eliminated. Afterwards [Removed:433] told our French colleagues that he only called because he needed a stack for the final table. The redraw for the final table is happening currently.
In the last hand before the break, Sebastien Compte moved all in for his last 125,000 chips. It folded to Paul Guichard in the big blind, who hadn't looked.
"Allez!" he said, pumping his arms as if psyching himself up for the sweat.
"Allez Paul," replied Sebastien.
"The first isn't bad," said Guichard in French to his opponent. He looked at the second card. He paused. He then pushed chips forwards to indicate a call.

The board ran out and Compte was eliminated. All but three of the remaining eight players had left their seats for the 15-minute break, and perhaps will be wondering where Compte has gone when they return.

Jerome Sgorrano moved all in from under the gun for his remaining 295,000. It folded to Paul Guichard on the button who enquired as to Sgorrano's stack before calling. The remaining players folded. Sgorrano was at risk and he showed while Guichard held . The board ran out and Guichard was left with 55,000.
That 55,000 went in the very next hand when it folded to Guichard on the button. Phu Truong called in the small blind and the cards were turned over.

Guichard was all in and dominated for the second hand in a row, and there was no help for him as the board ran out eliminating the Frenchman in 6th place.
