Juan Antonio Catches a Bluff to Double Up
Level 24
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Juan Antonio opened to 100,000 from the button with A♣J♣ and Orey Canarinho defended from the big blind with K♦4♦
On a flop of J♥A♦4♣, Juan Antonio continued for 60,000, but Canarinho check-raised to 170,000. Juan Antonio called with two pair.
Canarinho fired a second barrel of 200,000 on the 9♥ turn. Juan Antonio called once again to find the 7♦ river where Canarinho jammed for 3,700,000.
Juan Antonio looked at his cards and called, catching Canarinho bluffing and doubling up.
