Paris Trebles Up

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Having previously been one-outered for a big pot, Bryan Paris shoved for his last 5,600 preflop and was called by Richard Milne and Davidi Kitai. The flop of {J-Hearts}{5-Spades}{K-Hearts} was checked by both players before Kitai bet 6,500 on the {4-Clubs} turn and Milne folded {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

Kitai tabled {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Paris showed {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for a set. The {K-Clubs} river changed nothing and Paris won the pot.

"You're so lucky," joked Jorryt van Hoof alluding to the earlier one-outer.

"Yeah, I run so good," laughed Paris.

Van den Brom and Duthie Done

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

John Duthie was sent to the rail with {J-Spades} {10-Spades} against the {A-} {K-} of Dmitry Ponomarev and Marco van Opzeeland followed shortly after with {5-Spades} {5-Hearts} against the {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades} of Martin van den Brom. The all in was for only 13,000 chips and the board ran out dry with {10-Spades} {2-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {4-Clubs}.

Vonk Doubles

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

WSOP bracelet winner Marcel Vonk defended his small blind against a raise of the player on the button. The betting size on the {9-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} flop is unknown, but on the {J-Clubs} turn Vonk check-called all in for 14,000 with {J-Hearts} {2-Hearts}. His opponent sighed and then turned over {10-Clubs} {10-Spades}, the {6-Spades} on the river was a blank.

Artur Koren
Artur Koren

Joining the action on the {K-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {3-Spades} flop, Artur Koren called a check-raise of Hzaram Aanquich to 11,400 and then called the bet of 21,300 on the {3-Diamonds} turn. The Dutchman checked the {A-Hearts} river and Koren moved all in for over 30,000 still, Aanquich snap-called with {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}. Koren only had {J-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} for jack-high and was sent to the rail.

Rutter Busts O'Dwyer

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

It wasn't the most fortunate event for Steve O'Dwyer as he was already on his first bullet and just got the remainder of his stack in on the feature table with {A-Hearts} {9-Hearts} for 17,100. Stuart Rutter had an easy decision with {K-Clubs} {K-Hearts} and the board ran out {4-Hearts} {4-Spades} {5-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}.

Meiri Happy

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

After two checks, Johan van Til bet 6,000 on the turn of a {3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board, Aviv Meiri check-raised to 18,800 and Emil Matsson folded. Van Til made the call to see the {6-Diamonds} on the river and Meiri bet 25,500, van Til tanked briefly but folded rather than calling all-in.

Yaxi Zhu
Yaxi Zhu

Yaxi Zhu was standing on the rail and watching Aaron Lim, thus we decided to catch up with the Chinese lady to find out how she busted. In the very first hand of the day she defended her big blind with {K-Clubs} {9-Clubs} and check-raised all in after a king-high flop only to see her opponent snap call with {A-} {K-}.

Bryn Kenney

Bryn Kenney's Day 2 has turned out to be very short. He was all in with {K-Spades}{J-Clubs} but couldn't beat Pascal Teekens' {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} after an {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} board.

Karlic Folds

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Until the {2-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} flop, about 6,000 chips were in the middle and Gerald Karlic faced the all in of a late registrant on Day 2 for 11,400. That was almost half of the stack of Karlic and the Austrian eventually folded. So far it wasn't a good day at the office for Karlic, as he already lost half his stack.

De Melo with Aces

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Omer Cubukcu was previously almost all in with a three-bet and left himself 700 chips behind. Initial raiser Guy Goosens folded and was shown the {Q-Hearts}. The German would bust 10 minutes later when getting it in with pocket jacks against the pocket aces of Fatima Moreira de Melo. The seat of short stack fabio Sperling is also open.
