The Ultimate Beat: Quads Over Quads Busts Net

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

Rembert Net walked up to the media desk and showed us a photo of his bust out hand. Net, not particularly known for complaining about bad beats or taking photos of his bust out hands, just smiled and explained what had happened.

Net opened under the gun plus 2 for 1,000 and saw the cutoff 3-bet to 3,000. Net called when the action folded to him.

Net check-called a bet of 3,000 on the {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop and check-called another 6,000 on the {K-Diamonds} turn.

The river came the {K-Hearts} and Net checked for the third time. His opponent bet 12,000 and Net shoved for about 16,000. His opponent called rather quickly.

Net showed {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for quads but that hand proved no winner as his opponent tabled {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} for the bigger quads. Net busted, on to the next one for him.
