Vladimir Velikov raised to 25,000 from the hijack. He was called by Alireza Tannazi in the small blind and Elena Yasyuchenya in the big blind.

Arnaud Enselme opened to 26,000 from the button and Gheorghe Butuc three-bet to 85,000 from the small blind. Enselme took his time before going all in and Butuc snap-called.

Gheorghe Butuc: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Arnaud Enselme: {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

Butuc had Enselme absolutely crushed with pocket aces against pocket threes.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and when the chips were counted, Enselme was left with around 50,000 chips, good for a little more than four big blinds.

Elena Yasyuchenya
Elena Yasyuchenya

Action was caught with around 250,000 in the middle on a {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} board as Elena Yasyuchenya, from the big blind, had shoved over the top of Mohamad El-Sayed, who was seated under the gun.

El-Sayed, who had roughly 220,000 behind, agonized over the decision and needed to use time bank chips. After 90 seconds, he said "I think you're bluffing" and folded {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} face up.

Yasyuchenya showed the {q-Clubs} for trip queens as she raked in another pot.

Petrov Rivers Nut Flush as Adrianopoulos Rivers Set of Jacks

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Chip leader from all Day 1 flights Sakis Adrianopoulos opened to 26,000 from early position and Veselin Petrov called from the small blind.

The flop came {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and Adrianopoulos continued for 22,000. Petrov made the call.

Both players were extremely quick to check the {5-Diamonds} turn.

On the {j-Hearts} river, Petrov considered his options and slowly slid in a 20-stack of blue chips, equalling 100,000. Adrianopoulos took about three seconds before making the call.

Veselin Petrov turned over {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the nut flush, which left Sakis Adrianopoulos wincing before he turned over {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}, giving the whole table a reason to wince as well.
