Butuc Doubles Through Enselme

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Action folded to Gheorghe Butuc on the button who moved all in for 735,000. Arnaud Enselme was in the small blind and asked for a count before moving all in for 4,350,000. Vittorio Maugini quickly folded.

Gheorghe Butuc: {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Arnaud Enselme: {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

Butuc was at risk but had Enselme dominated. It wouldn't be Butuc's time to bow out as the board ran out {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{k-Hearts} to give Butuc the double up.

Arnaud Enselme opened from the button to 320,000 and Vittorio Maugini, in the small blind, very quickly tossed in three time bank cards and stewed over his decision on what to do with his final 960,000. After 90 seconds went by, he tossed another two time bank cards in and, 30 more seconds later, went all in. James O'Brien got out of the way and Enselme snap-called.

Vittorio Maugini: {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Arnaud Enselme: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Enselme was way ahead with pocket queens, much to the dismay of Maugini, who began to gather his things.

The board ran out {j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} to eliminate the Italian in 5th place, good enough for an $11,000 score.

With his latest win, Enselme now has over half of the chips in play.

Arnaud Enselme moved all in from the cutoff for 5,800,000. He was called by James O'Brien on the button who had approximately 1,000,000.

James O'Brien: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Arnaud Enselme: {j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

O'Brien was way ahead with his pocket kings. However the flop came {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} which gave Enselme the nuts on the flop. The turn came the {9-Clubs} and the river the {7-Clubs} which eliminated O'Brien in fourth place for $15,000. At first the Irishman didn't realise he'd lost but than humbly exited the tournament area saying "It was fun playing with you guys".

Gheorghe Butuc: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Dmitry Koleznev: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

Arnaud Enselme emitted an "oof!" as Butuc was crushed going up against Koleznev's pocket aces.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, giving Butuc hope with a straight draw.

The {7-Clubs} did had Butuc drawing to just four outs and the {2-Clubs} completed the board, ending his journey.

Hand 1: Dmitry Koleznev shoved and Arnaud Enselme folded.

Hand 2: Enselme called and Koleznev checked his option. The flop came {4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Koleznev folded to Enselme's 200,000-chip continuation bet.

Hand 4: Enselme shoved and Koleznev called after telling Enselme "Good luck."

Dmitry Koleznev: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Arnaud Enselme: {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

There was going to be an official deal between the players as the chips were fairly even however the tournament director instructed that the current hand must be complete.

Arnaud Enselme raised to 500,000 from the small blind/button before Dmitry Koleznev moved all in for 4,700,000. Enselme snap called covering Koleznev.

Dmitry Koleznev: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Arnaud Enselme: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

It was a flip to determine the outcome of the tournament. The flop was favorable to Enselme as it came {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs} giving the Frenchman two pair and leaving Koleznev drawing thin. The turn was the {2-Spades} and the river was the {5-Hearts} which eliminated Koleznev in second place for $30,000.

Koleznev had a look of disappointment on his face as the tournament was over before the deal could be completed.
