Loeser Gets Paid by Abduraimov
Level 3
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
With 8,500 in the middle with the board showing A♦9♦5♠8♠ at the turn, Manig Loeser bet 5,000 from middle position and was called by Elif in the big blind.
The 3♠ completed the board and brought in the spade flush draw. This did not deter the German Loeser who bet 22,000. Elif called and Loeser showed 7♣6♣ for the nine-high straight. A frustrated Elif showed A♠10♣, who blocked the nut flush and had a pair of aces.
