State Doubles Through Chen
Level 10
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
With 78,000 in the middle at the turn and the board reading J♦8♦6♣K♣, Adrian State moved all in for 75,000 and was called by Zhao Cheng.
Adrian State: A♣A♥
Zhao Cheng: K♦Q♦
State was ahead with the pocket rockets, but it was very vulnerable, as Cheng could hit a diamond for a flush or could hit a king or queen to take the pot. Instead, the backdoor flush came in with the 4♣ to secure a double-up for State.
