The Mediterranean Poker Party Main Event, running at Merit Crystal Cove, continues today with Day 1b, the second of four starting flights to the $5 million guaranteed tournament.
The first flight attracted 247 entries, of which 37 players found the bag. Hao Zhu is the player to beat for those who enter today. Zhu bagged for 3,650,000, only a few chips ahead of second place Ali Al-Kubasi (3,445,000), a regular who often makes final tables here in North Cyprus.

Day 1b kicks off at 1 p.m. local time. Players start with 200,000 chips and blind levels run for 40-minutes, with a break after every three levels. Late registration remains open until the start of Level 10 after the dinner break. Everyone who bags from the starting flights will return for Day 2 already in the money.
