Taran Parmar was involved in three hands in a row. On the first hand, Ghanim Dashti raised from early position and Parmar shoved from the big blind.
"You have a pair?" asked Dashti.
"Am I allowed to tell him?" said Parmar to the dealer. "Yes, I have a pair, you want to call?"
Dashti threw in a time bank and said, "let me think", then laid it down, giving Parmar the pot.
The next hand, Dashti raised again from middle position and picked up calls from the cutoff, Parmar on the button, and the small blind. The flop came 8♦K♦4♦ and Parmar led with a shove. All of his opponents folded and Parmar pulled in the pot, showing the 6♦ as he did.
"Binary. On or off, no thinking. No quantum stuff," joked Dashti.
In the next hand, action was on the 9♥8♣8♠ flop, Dashti bet 21,000 and Parmar called. On the 3♣ turn, Dashti bet 43,000 and Parmar called again.
The river came the 2♥ and Dashti bet 75,000, which was worth the rest of Parmar's stack. Parmar made the call.
"You're ready, huh? Did we both flop trips?" said Parmar.
Dashti had K♠9♠ for two pair, nines and eights, while Parmar had J♥8♥ for trip eights to win the pot, doubling his stack.
"Nice comeback," said Dashti.
