Following an open-raise to 40,000 from the hijack and Jan Schwippert called in the cutoff. Shuang Luo then three-bet to 200,000 from the big blind. The hijack called then Schwippert moved all in for 580,000. Luo used a time bank and then called with the covering stack, while the cutoff folded.

Luo was badly behind against aces, but the 9♠4♠10♥ flop gave her trip nines. The 6♥ turn and 3♣ river finished Schwippert's chances to catch up and he was sent to the rail, while Luo chipped up to around 2,000,000, putting her among the leaders heading into the last few levels.
