Gromov Leaves Yugay Short-Stacked

With two players seeing a board of K♣Q♦2♣ and roughly 650,000 already in the middle, Victor Yugay checked in the big blind and Dmitry Gromov checked on the button.

On the 7♦ turn Yugay bet 390,000 and Gromov moved all in, covering Yugay's remaining stack of approximately 550,000. Yugay went deep into the deep.

After a few minutes went by Yugay decided to fold and Gromov took down a sizable pot without showdown.

Baurzhan Akimov opened to 120,000 from the hijack and Kenar Zemin defended from the big blind.

The flop came Q♥4♥2♣ and Zemin check-called an 85,000 continuation bet from Akimov.

Zemin check-called another bet on the 6♠ turn, this time for 300,000.

Both players checked the 9♦ river. Zemin tabled 8♠8♣ for a pair of eights while Akimov showed down Q♠J♦ for top pair to take the pot.

Volodymer Drokin was all in from middle position for roughly 700,000 and Shuang Luo moved all in from the button for roughly 1,055,000, folding out all other players to leave Drokin at risk.

Luo pulled way ahead with top pair on the 8♠K♥5♠ flop and by the 8♣ turn Drokin was drawing dead. The 5♣ river was a formality, after which Drokin was sent to the rail while Luo took down a healthy pot.

Fabian Quoss opened the button to 110,000 and got called by Nuno Correia in the big blind.

The 8♦8♠10♣ flop landed and the action checked to Quoss who continued for 75,000. Correia called and the 9♠ rolled off on the turn.

It got checked to Quoss who put out another bet of 250,000. Correia called again and the K♦ river hit the felt.

It checked over to Quoss for the final time and he put out a large bet of 470,000. Correia tanked for close to two minutes before he finally place one chip on the table to signify a call.

Quoss tabled Q♠8♣ for trips and Correia mucked.
