Er Spikes the River on M'hiri

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Zorlu Er and Chakib M'hiri saw the turn on a board of {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. M'hiri bet 25,000 and Er moved all in for 85,000.

M'hiri quickly tossed in a chip to call. "Do you have a ten," Er said, standing up from his seat.

"Of course," M'hiri replied, showing {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

Er threw his arms in the air in frustration as he opened up {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and prepared to make his exit. The river, though, came the {k-Clubs} and Er made a full house to remain in the tournament.

The turn came the {9-Hearts} and Martinsek was already drawing dead as the {5-Clubs} fell on the river.

Trofimov Snaps It Off

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

[Removed:510] three-bet from the button to 26,000. Fahredin Mustafov, next to act in the small blind, four-bet to 45,000 and Trofimov called when action folded back around to him.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and Mustafov immediately announced he was all in. Trofimov snap-called for his last 65,000 with {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a flush draw, while Mustafov had {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

The {4-Diamonds}{5-Spades} turn and river were no help to Trofimov and he wished the table luck before heading for the exit.

Modena Spikes the River in Wild All In

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Italo Modena
Italo Modena

Valeriy Pak was all in for 105,000 from the small blind, Italo Modena moved all in for 83,000 in the big blind, and Liviu Catalin Toderita called, having both players well covered.

Italo Modena: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Valeriy Pak: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Liviu Catalin Toderita: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Pak was ahead with his kings as the flop came {9-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}. The {a-Spades} on the turn, though, gave Toderita top pair and put him in position to knock out both players.

The {q-Diamonds} fell on the river and Modena improved to a set to triple up, while Toderita eliminated Pak in the side pot. "From the flop I was saying queen on the river," Modena said.

There was a mixup in counting the chips, with Modena claiming he didn't receive enough from the pot, and it took several minutes for the dealer to figure it out.
